An Oklahoma revocation of power of attorney form is used to cancel an active power of attorney agreement. POAs can be granted with or without an expiration date, and this form helps terminate the granted actions at the principal party’s request. To complete the revocation, inform your agent and any backup agent that the POA is revoked, and they are no longer authorized to act on your behalf.
Provide copies of the revocation to them and anyone doing business with your agent. A public notary can validate the process with an official signature.
Legal Considerations
Statute – Title 58 Chapter 29 – Uniform Power of Attorney Act (58 OS § 3001 – 3045).
Termination – 58 OS § 3010.
