A Washington, DC limited power of attorney allows a principal to grant specific powers to an agent for particular tasks or situations, such as financial transactions, property management, or business operations, without giving them full control over all aspects of the principal’s affairs.
The agent’s authority ends on a specified date, upon task completion, by revocation, or if the principal dies or becomes incapacitated.
