A North Dakota real estate power of attorney is a legal document empowering an agent to manage real estate matters for the principal. This includes buying, selling, managing repairs, transferring payments, and evicting tenants. The principal must clearly outline the agent’s responsibilities and actions in the document.
Once signed, this form grants the agent authority over the principal’s real estate matters. The principal retains the right to revoke these powers and can do so at any time by providing a written notice to the agent. The power of attorney can remain effective even if the principal becomes disabled or incapacitated if it is a durable power of attorney.
