A Pennsylvania revocation of power of attorney form is a legal document designed to terminate an existing POA agreement. When a principal no longer needs an attorney-in-fact to act on their behalf, they must legally cancel the arrangement. Although some powers of attorney may have a stated expiration date, early termination can be requested by the principal.
To revoke the original contract, fill out the necessary paperwork with the corresponding information from the previous agreement and sign as instructed. It is essential to provide a copy of the revocation to your agent, any backup agents, and any institutions that have used or have a record of your POA.
