A Missouri tax power of attorney form, also known as Form 2827, grants power to a tax professional or qualified agent to handle tax matters on behalf of a taxpayer before the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The taxpayer can appoint up to four representatives to handle tax types, such as personal income tax, corporation income tax, motor fuel tax, and withholding taxes. This form is useful in situations where a taxpayer needs someone more knowledgeable about taxes to handle tax-related issues, obtain tax information, and make filings on their behalf.
