A Utah real estate power of attorney allows property owners to appoint an agent to manage their real estate affairs. This arrangement lets the agent purchase, sell, manage, or refinance property according to the principal’s terms. The agent can choose to extend the agent’s powers in the event of their incapacitation or have their authority end when they become unable to act for themselves.
This document lets the property owner protect their interests, as they can make the agent’s powers as broad or limited as they’d like. The principal can revoke the agent’s powers at any time by providing written notice.
