A Wyoming real estate power of attorney enables a principal to assign real estate management and transaction responsibilities to a designated agent. This agent can be a real estate agent/professional or family member/friend whom the principal trusts to handle their property affairs.
Depending on how the principal writes the agreement, the agent could have permission to oversee rental agreements, manage repairs, handle tenant issues, and transact property on the principal’s behalf. The property owner chooses the duration of the agent’s authority, meaning they can have the powers extend beyond their incapacitation (durable) or not (nondurable).
