An Idaho tax power of attorney form (ID-POA), or “Form bL375E,” is a legal document that allows taxpayers to designate representatives to manage their tax-related affairs. This form grants the appointed agent, referred to as the “attorney-in-fact,” the authority to perform various tasks on behalf of the taxpayer, such as filing tax returns, accessing fee information and tax documents, and representing the taxpayer in dealings with the Idaho State Tax Commission.
The taxpayer defines the extent and limitations of the agent’s powers within the form, maintaining control over the delegated responsibilities. The agent is restricted from appointing other representatives, receiving refund checks, or managing affairs with other tax agencies, such as the Internal Revenue Service.
