A Tennessee tax power of attorney form (Form RV-F0103801) is a legal document that allows a taxpayer to assign control of their tax filings and affairs with the Tennessee Department of Revenue to a trusted representative. You can nominate anyone you’d like to have authority, such as an attorney or accountant, but a representative is usually someone with whom the taxpayer has a close relationship.
Depending on the powers the taxpayer awards to the representative, the representative may be able to execute tax-related agreements and review confidential documents. The form remains valid until the taxpayer revokes it or nominates another representative.
