A Kentucky 7-day notice to quit for non-payment of rent is a written notice given to tenants who have failed to pay rent. It gives tenants a seven-day period to either pay rent or vacate the premises. If the tenant fails to pay rent or move out within the seven-day period, the landlord may terminate their tenancy and file for eviction with the court.
This notice is only applicable in counties that have adopted the Uniform Residential Landlord Tenant Act (URLTA), and landlords should check with their district court before starting the eviction process.
