A Michigan 7-day notice to quit for non-payment of rent is a legal document that gives tenants seven days to pay their rent or vacate the property. Tenants can still be liable to pay rent even if they move out within the seven-day period. Landlords are advised to serve the tenant by personal delivery or first-class mail to their address.
