A Nevada 7-day notice to pay rent or quit is a formal notification to tenants who haven’t paid rent, giving them a week to settle the payment or face termination of their tenancy. If tenants dispute their default, they can defend themselves by filing an affidavit with the Las Vegas Township’s Justice of the Peace before noon on the fifth day. The notice can also demand unpaid security deposits, returned check fees, and interest. Non-compliance may result in the landlord initiating legal proceedings for eviction and claiming damages.
