An Idaho medical power of attorney is a legal document that allows you to appoint someone you trust to make medical decisions for you if you can’t speak for yourself due to an illness or injury. The person you pick for this role is called your agent, and they can only act on your behalf when you are unable to communicate your wishes. In Idaho, this document is also referred to as a healthcare power of attorney. It’s important to choose someone who understands your values and can advocate for your healthcare preferences.
